The natural wood UL FUN Spoon is so smooth and comfortable you'll want to use it again and again.
I've been using this super light natural wooden spoon for over 15 years, and it has an incredibly smooth and comfortable feel.
I happened to stop by a woodworking workshop in Izu and found the spoon in a gallery attached to it.
I have continued to use it ever since, and always use it when eating curry, fried rice, or soup.
Even after many years, the spoon remains comfortable to use, is gentle on the tongue, and feels natural in the mouth, making it a spoon you'll want to use again and again.
I use it at home, of course, but I've also started taking it outdoors and using it in the field.
The reason is that it is extremely light, making it ideal for ultralight applications, and it does not produce any unpleasant metallic noise when used with titanium cookware used in the mountains or camping.
However, after using it for over 15 years, the paint on the edge of the spoon was starting to peel off, so I decided to buy a new spoon and searched for the workshop where it was made.
However, finding a workshop I vaguely remembered was extremely difficult, and I couldn't find one for a while, so I thought about just applying the urethane paint myself and bought some tools at a hardware store, but since it's something that goes in your mouth, I felt a bit hesitant to do so, so I decided to look for a workshop again.
As I called everyone I could think of, explained the situation, and sent pictures of the spoon, I discovered that the artist who had designed and made the exquisite spoon had retired from woodworking many years ago.
It was such a shame and extremely disappointing!
Not one to give up, I decided to find a workshop that could somehow reproduce it.
Once again, after searching randomly, I was able to find someone who told me about a woodworker from Izu who had the same woodworking teacher as the person who had quit woodworking.
That person is Nami Kikuchi ( kina ), a woodworker who is currently helping us reproduce the spoon.
The original design was created by the original creator, so we asked them to change the design slightly to make it more suitable for outdoor use, and after making several samples and improving them, the current spoon was completed!
I still remember the excitement I felt when it was finished, and the sense of relief and joy I felt when I put it in my mouth, thinking, "This is it! This is the feeling!"
No matter how many times you use it, it feels gentle to eat with, and there is no discomfort when you put it in your mouth, so you will want to use this spoon again and again, any time.It may be a bit of an exaggeration to say that it will last you a lifetime, as you will unconsciously choose it, but once you start using it, you will grow to love it.
I would love for you to try using this spoon to eat freeze-dried rice or curry made outdoors!
We hope you enjoy it together with "UL FUN Meal"!
It comes with an ultra-lightweight cutlery case from YAMATOMO.FUN, made of stain-resistant mesh fabric and large enough to hold chopsticks and other items! (Please note that color cannot be chosen.)

I no longer notice the metallic sound
When using a cooktop, spoons made of metals such as titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum inevitably make a metallic noise when they hit the cooktop. Have you ever been bothered by that nasty metallic sound, especially when you scrape the spoon against the cooktop?
With a natural wooden spoon, you can enjoy your meal without worrying about that unpleasant sound!

Ultra-light natural wood is an SDGs material!
Even though they are both natural wood, cherry wood and camphor wood have different specific gravities, so we use the lightest natural wood available at the time to make our products.
Each spoon weighs approximately 5 to 7 grams. Each spoon is handmade by a woodworker, so there may be slight differences in the grain, weight, and shape, but each spoon is one of a kind.
Since it is made of natural wood, it blends in naturally even in outdoor fields, and it is a stylish spoon with the YAMATOMO.FUN logo.
What's more, if the paint starts to peel, you can ask the artist to repair it, so you can use it for a long time, even 10 or 20 years.
Since it is made of natural wood, it is an SDG-contributing material that returns to nature when no longer needed!
